The Disney original youth oriented show, “Shake It Up”, has jumpstarted its brand new episode entitled “Love and War It Up” which earned high ratings on its television premiere in France. Kenton Duty and the gang introduced a wacky third season as its pilot episode revealing a love-hate relationship between CeCe and Logan. Rocky tries to convince Cece and Logan to get along so that Logan can at last take CeCe on a date. Cece finally agrees to try but Logan felt otherwise. “Shake It Up” has been rated TV-G.
Shaking it Up at Radio Disney Awards
Kenton Duty, who played the flamboyant European exchange student, Guenther Hessenheffer has been seen kicking the party with the French SIU fans’ favorite, Caroline Sunshine, who has been parading her red print dress at 2013 Radio Disney Awards. The 17-year-old actress, joined her ‘Shake it Up’ co-stars Kenton Duty, Adam Irigoyen and Roshon Fegan on the red carpet.
Another ‘Shake it Up’ darling, Bella Thorne arrived at the event donning a blue floral-covered dress accessorized with multi-colored jewels as she posed for the photographers on the red carpet. The actress was nominated for Best Music Video for her song “Fashion is My Kryponite” with her co-star Zendaya. After the event, Thorne resumed her life being a normal teenager and tweeted, “A dream coming true tonight by going to junior prom”.
Duty and his co-stars reunited once again after a long hiatus for the upcoming 3rd season of Shake it Up. Their strong fan-base in France clamor for more episodes, even petitioning for a Shake it Up world tour in Europe. Online communities from different fansites as well as gaming websites such as Partypoker.fr began to bring the ‘Shake it Up’ craze at online poker tables in early 2010. Texas Hold’em enthusiasts in France are excited to hear more remixes to hype up their game plays with its popular in-house OSTs such as “Anything U Can Do”, “Where’s the Party”, and “Whodunit”. Players at online French poker tables can share their own ‘Shake it Up’ mixes and track listings at its online communities and forums.
Meanwhile, while Duty isn’t preoccupied with filming, he normally involves himself at several charities such as Disney’s Friends for Change endeavor, the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and many more.
Apart from actively involving to charities, Duty is an advocate of anti child bullying. In May 2011, he was heralded as one of Dream Magazine’s “Top 16 under 16”. During an interview he said, “You know, I have been bullied. It is always an awkward and difficult situation to be in. A couple of things to try when being bullied is to avoid the bully as much as possible, try using humor against the bully, have a sense of confidence….hold your head up and look everyone in the eyes.
Tons of awesome performers will be entertaining fans at the Avalon in Hollywood on May 5, 2013!
The event is from 2-7pm.
